  • Winter semester 2014/2015:
    Advanced Isotope Methods in Environmental Physics,
    New lecture (presented together with W. Aeschbach-Hertig) with regular excercises

    The lecture intended to give an introduction into the concept of isotopes and isotopologues and provided an overview over the main isotope fractionation processes. The lecture focused on understanding the physical mechanisms behind the observed effects and was complemented by applications that illustrate important isotope fractionation processes. New advanced techniques like multiply-substituted isotopologues ('clumped isotopes') and various noble gas isotopes examplarily illustrate the wide range of promising applications in Environmental Physics and the Earth Sciences. The lecture is scheduled to be repeated in the next winter semester.

    Experimental Physics II (Transport processes, Electrodynamics, Relativity) ,
